this week end i went to my grandpa's land with my grandpa, my grandma and my brother to go fishing. we didn't catch anything, except for rick, the guy who rents the land. he caught about 10 fish (that all looked suspiciously similar. we think that it might have been the same fish who thought it was a fun game and kept swimming back out to the same spot to wait for the lure to come down. we also saw some of the horses and the goats. there were some baby goats who kept trying to eat us and chased us around and could apparently untie shoelaces. i wasn't wearing shoelaces, because mine had elastic that didn't come undone. we also met colten (i don't know if that's how you spell his name), an energetic 5- year old who loved showing us around his home.
in other news, the twins celebrated their 3rd birthday on February 20, 2011. we got an ipad, and i got a new baby brother on my dad's side named oliver grier luke. (i'm not so sure i spelled his middle name right. i just remember how it's pronounced)
i also made a pair of granny-square slippers and used a sewing machine for the first time to create a very small quilt top. i think that just about covers everything important.
oh yeah, oliver is 3 or4 months old now and his first birthday is going to be on thanksgiving. goodbye!
post scripture (do you like how i found out and used what p.s. stands for? i found that out in treasure island, which the movie treasure planet is a sci-fi version of. but besides that fact and the fact that it takes place a gajillion years in the future, the book and the movie are surprisingly similar. and long john silver is the bad guy in it, has a peg leg ad pet parrot and owns a small inn or at least i think it's an inn. it might be a pub.) i forgot to mention that i'm going to start posting fictional stories that i come up with and when you post about them i want your real opinions about them, not ones that you're just saying to not hurt my feelings. i want to know how you really feel about them so that i can know what to fix.

p.p.p.s.the babie's have started potty-training and i have nearly finished reading the entire redwall series, which is one of my favorite book series. so far i have stuck to my goal and have not read a single book twice. it's been really hard, because i only have one book in the series (did i spell that word right? and did i spell series right? because spellcheck isn't working right now even though i keep clicking on it and it currently even isn't highlighting words i know i spelled wrong) left and it doesn't come out for another month. i really hope i got every thing because it's getting late and this is the second time i've had to click edit.
